CARE & USAGE
-
Safe Zone: Keep children away from the cooking area. Heat, steam, and splattering oils are part of the cooking process—ensure a safe distance is always maintained.
Steam Management: When lifting the lid during cooking, always tilt it away from you to direct steam safely away from your face and hands.
SAFE HANDLING
Never Dry-Heat: Never leave an empty pan on a hot burner or active heating element.
Oil Tip: While DuraPan® cookware offers incredible release, a few drops of oil or butter before cooking can further enhance performance and flavour.
The "No Spray" Rule: DO NOT use aerosol cooking sprays. These contain additives that burn at low temperatures, creating a sticky buildup that can permanently damage the ceramic's "easy-flow" release.
Cleaning: While dishwasher safe, we recommend hand washing to preserve the finish of the pan.
Utensils: The interior of the pan is metal utensil safe, we do recommend that you use nylon, wooden, or silicone utensils to prolong the durability of your non-stick cookware. Avoid cutting with sharp utensils on the non-stick surface.
OVEN & GRILL SAFETY
If your DuraPan® cookware is marked as Oven Safe, please observe these temperature limits: Oven safe up to 230°C
Grill/Broiler Warning: Only use DuraPan® non-stick cookware under a grill or broiler for short periods of time. The intense, direct overhead heat can compromise the specialised ceramic surface.
HANDLE SAFETY & MAINTENANCE
Positioning: To prevent overheating, ensure handles do not extend over a hot burner. Always match the heat source to the size of the pan base to protect the handle's integrity.
Stay-Cool Technology: Our stainless steel handles are engineered to stay cooler for longer during normal cooktop use. However, stainless steel is a heat conductor, handles will become hot during extended cooking times or oven use.
Safe Handling: We always recommend using oven gloves or pot holders when removing DuraPan® from the cooktop or oven.
-
Cool Down First: Always allow your cookware to cool completely before stacking or storing. Placing a hot pan into a cold stack can cause thermal stress. The DuraPan® lids should be completely dry before stacking to prevent moisture trap between layers.
Total Dry: Ensure the base and the interior of every pan are 100% dry before nesting. This prevents water spots and ensures your DuraPan® is ready for action the moment you pull it from the cupboard.
Storage: To protect your DuraPan® non-stick cookware, we suggest a protective sheath/tea towel between the pans when nesting or stacking.
Vertical Storage: If space allows, storing your pans vertically in a rack is the best way to prevent surface-to-surface contact and ensure easy access to every size in your collection.
Handle Clearance: When nesting pans with the DuraPan® handles, ensure they are positioned so they do not rub against the interior walls of the pan nested above them.
-
Lift, Don’t Slide: To keep your glass or ceramic cooktop looking like new, always lift your DuraPan® vertically when moving it. DO NOT drag or slide the cookware, as this can cause
unnecessary scratches to the cooktop surface.
Keep it Clean: Ensure both your cooktop and the base of your pan are perfectly clean before use. Even small food particles trapped between the two can cause surface abrasions.
Stay Dry: Always dry the base of your cookware thoroughly before cooking. Moisture on the base can cause the pan to "stick" to the induction or halogen hob during the heating process.
-
If your packaging indicates your DuraPan® is INDUCTION SUITABLE, please follow these professional tips:
Controlled Heating: Induction provides incredibly rapid heat transfer. Avoid overheating or rapidly heating an empty pan, as the intense energy can cause damage. We recommend using a mid-range temperature setting for preheating.
The "Induction Buzz": You may notice a slight buzzing sound at high heat settings. This is a common technical characteristic of induction technology and does not indicate a fault in your cookware or your hob.
Burner Matching: For peak efficiency, always match the diameter of your DuraPan® base to the size of your induction element. Using a mismatched size may affect the power and performance of the pan.
-
Steam Management: When lifting the lid during cooking, always tilt it away from you to direct steam safely away from your face and hands.
Gentle Care: To maintain the strength of the tempered glass, avoid using metal utensils or sharp abrasives when cleaning. Scratches can weaken the glass and lead to breakage.
Inspect Regularly: Do not use glass lids that show signs of scratches or cracks.
Thermal Shock: Avoid extreme or sudden temperature changes (such as placing a hot lid in cold water), as this may cause the glass to shatter.
Oven Limits: When using the glass lid in the oven, do not exceed 180°C (356°F).
BAKEWARE
Initial Clean: Before your first use, remove all labels, wash your DuraPan® in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
If packaging glue is difficult to remove:
Carefully pour boiling water over the glue and surrounding area.
Allow the heat to soften the glue.
Safely wipe it away with a paper towel.
Efficient Heating: Pre heat oven before baking, pans are oven safe up to 230°C. Do not overheat empty bakeware. Ensure that ingredients are in the bakeware prior to heating.
· Not suitable for use in microwave ovens.
· Not suitable for cooktop use.
-
This pan will be hot after baking. Use caution when lifting item and use Tea Towels or mitts for protection.
Utensils: We suggest using wooden, silicone and nylon utensils. Avoid cutting with sharp utensils on the non-stick surface.
Storage: To protect the non-stick coating, do not stack or nest baking pans inside each other without a protective sheath, use a soft cloth or paper towels between pans when nesting.
-
To help preserve the coating of the baking pans, hand washing is recommended. However, pans are dishwasher safe. Do not pour cold water into hot baking pans, as this may cause warping. Always allow bakeware to cool before immersing in water.
After each use, hand wash the pans with warm soapy water and a non-abrasive cloth.
Rinse and dry thoroughly, paying particular attention under the rims.

COOKWARE
Initial Clean: Before your first use, remove all labels, wash your DuraPan® cookware in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Master the Heat: For the best results and to preserve the life of your coating, use low to medium heat. DuraPan® non-stick ceramic is engineered for superior heat distribution, so you don’t need high heat to get the job done.
Efficient Heating: Always match your cooktop burner to the size of the pan base. This ensures maximum efficiency and protects the exterior finish.
Stay Attentive: Do not leave your cookware unattended on the cooktop for extended periods.
